Yet another piece of anime fan art. This is the insane Haruhara Haruko from FLCL (or Furi Kuri or Fooly Cooly, which ever you prefer). FLCL falls into the category of zany anime but don't let that put you off watching it. Beneath all the over-the-top wackiness there's a beautifully observed storyline about a teenage boy learning what it means to be an adult.

I'm currently colouring this drawing, so expect an update soon. Of course with me soon could mean next year!

Update So I guess when I say soon I mean 5 months, good to know. Anyway, I've posted a coloured version of the image as promised. I had to redraw it a bit (the scooter was just plain wrong!) so I've posted the updated line art as well. Also, here's a 100% scale view of her face.
